Valerie-Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 14th in 1970) is an American writer and actor. She is two times a Golden Globe Award recipient. Her roles in CBS"One Day at A Time's Barbara and Hot in Cleveland's Melanie Moretti made her a household star. When she was in her teens she began to perform and then became a character actor. Her friendship with the daughter of a television producer while she was just an infant sparked her a love for the show business and she decided to take up acting professionally. Bertinelli entered the television industry when she was a teenager, after having graduated from Tami Lynn School of Artists. She quickly became popular for her poise, acting abilities and her confident style. In addition to her complicated life story, and battle with addiction and alcohol issues, she also worked to rebuild her life. She wrote New York Times bestsellers, in which she described the hardships of her life as well as her struggles, are widely known for the public at large. The multi-talented lady is working on her culinary competition Kids Baking Championship.
